Democratic Plank # 5: Declare Perversion To Be Right, Good And Proper

One of the planks in the Democratic platform is entitled "Protect Our Values" and it contains a long list of moral perverts and degenerates that the Democrats want to grant special government privileges and protections.  Let's consider what the Democrats describe as their "values" for a bit today.
The first splinter in that plank is entitled "Women and Girls" and it contains the usual God-hating clap-trap about women having a right to conspire with government approved "medical" professionals to murder their unborn babies with complete legal immunity.  The splinter contains this murderous and imperialistic statement, "We will support sexual and reproductive health and rights around the globe. In addition to expanding the availability of affordable family planning information and contraceptive supplies, we believe that safe abortion must be part of comprehensive maternal and women’s health care and included as part of America’s global health programming."  I have a question for the Democrats.  Why is it the business of Amerika to export its religiously held doctrine of abortion to other nations around the world?  Moreover, why would the Democrats make the imperialistic concept of "global health programming" a part of their platform?  Indeed, just what is this outrageous concept of global health programming?  Why should other nations currently subject to the Amerikan empire be required to adopt Amerika's program for the massive extermination of their unborn children?
The imperialistic idea that the Democrats have cooked up that somehow the Amerikan government is responsible for citizens in other countries is also seen in its section on "women and girls."  They write, "We believe the United States must continue to be a strong advocate for the rights and opportunities of women and girls around the world. Elevating their status is not just the right thing to do—it is also a strategic imperative that advances American interests in prosperity and stability."  How can telling the governments of foreign nations that they don't like their doctrine of women in any way advance "American interests" around the globe?  Think about it for a moment.  How would your average Joe-six pack Amerikan react to a plank in the platform of an Iranian political party that stated one of its goals to be "to subject Amerikan women to Islamic law?"  I think we all know the answer to that question.  After he sobered up he would be outraged that those stinkin foreigners would dare to tell our government how to run our country.  But when the shoe is on the other foot and the Democrats are telling the governments of sovereign nations around the world how to treat their women the patriotic Amerikan tears up and asks God to bless Amerika.
When it comes to everybody's favorite LGBTXYZ person the Democrats have a well defined splinter in their plank.  They declare, "Democrats will fight for the continued development of sex discrimination law to cover LGBT people. We will also fight for comprehensive federal non-discrimination protections for all LGBT Americans, to guarantee equal rights in areas such as housing, employment, public accommodations, credit, jury service, education, and federal funding. We will oppose all state efforts to discriminate against LGBT individuals, including legislation that restricts the right to access public spaces."  In other words, the Democrats firmly believe and will fight to the death for the religiously held doctrine that homosexuals, transvestites, sadists, masochists, and other sexual perverts all deserve special government status and privileges.  They believe this principle so firmly that they will violate the Constitution they have sworn to uphold and infringe upon State's rights to draft and enforce laws that do not grant moral degenerates special government privileges.  Quite obviously the Democrats have North Carolina in their sights.  They are outraged that a sovereign state would make a law requiring men to pee and shower in men's bathrooms.  They want to bring the full force and authority of the federal executive, legislative and judicial branches of government down upon North Carolina and force the citizens of that state to comply with their demands.  They want to force the citizens of North Carolina to permit men to pee and shower in women's facilities.  And they do this while proudly declaring that they are only defending the rights of those who are being persecuted by adherents to the Socialist Democracy of Amerika's antiquated and quasi-Christian ethical system.  They quite properly believe that Amerika is now a post-Christian society and they want the government enforced system of morals to reflect that fact.  I can't disagree with them on that point.  Indeed, I say bring it on.  Make laws that criminalize Christian beliefs and practices and begin throwing Christians into prison on a massive scale.  Make examples of us by practicing harsh public persecution for anyone who dares to oppose your morally degenerate system of ethics and beliefs.
After going on and on about how they want to create a nation in which babies continue to be murdered at the rate of over one million per year, having now summarily murdered 16% of the present population of the SDA, and giving moral degenerates special privileges to eradicate all vestiges of biblical morality from the land, the Democrats have the audacity to have a splinter entitled "Religious Minorities."  Here is what that splinter says, "We are horrified by ISIS’ genocide and sexual enslavement of Christians and Yezidis and crimes against humanity against Muslims and others in the Middle East. We will do everything we can to protect religious minorities and the fundamental right of freedom of religion."  Could the hypocrisy be any more palpable?  The Democrats pledge to "protect religious minorities and the fundamental right of freedom of religion" and then support laws that require Christian bakers to bake cakes for militant homosexuals.  The Democrats want to criminalize the content of our sermons and, at the same time, profess to protect the right of Christians to practice their religion?  How about protecting the religious minority found in your own country?  How about protecting Christians from the onslaught of militant sexual perverts?  How about defending Christians when they stand up to abortion-murder?  Apparently the only "religious minorities" that the Democrats care about are those found in foreign countries.  That makes it very easy for them to make promises they know they will never deliver.
The Democrats go out of their way to oppose anything that is biblical.  They hate free markets.  They hate those who oppose sexual perversion.  They hate take that which is evil and pronounce it to be good.  They are the perfect political party for the modern, progressive world.  The SDA is a post-Christian society and it is time for its federal government and legal system to reflect that truth.  Enshrine evil and call it good.  Reject good and call it evil.  It is your nature and it is your way.  Now, do it.
God has a word for you Mr. Democrat.  God has something to say to the Democratic party as well.  I leave you with His word for you today, "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil, who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness; who substitute bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter.  Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and clever in their own sight....Therefore, as a tongue of fire consumes stubble, and dry grass collapses into the flame, so their root will become like rot and their blossom blow away as dust; for they have rejected the law of the Lord of hosts, and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel."

Democratic Plank # 4: Create Barriers To Economic Opportunity By Hindering The Free Market

The next plank in the Democratic platform is entitled, "Bring Americans Together and Remove Barriers to Opportunities."  Clearly this plank presupposes two things.  First, it presupposes that Amerikans are not together, whatever that means.  Second, it presupposes that any existing barriers encountered by the citizens of the Socialist Democracy of Amerika that impede their economic progress are created by the free market, most notably by angry white males.  Merely stating that last presupposition shows just how ridiculous it is.  Where do the people who use their own money, their own ideas and their own labor to bring things to the market they hope consumers will be willing to purchase in voluntary transactions obtain the power to create barriers to entry for others?  Of course, that question is never answered.  It is simply assumed that the free market is evil and it is also simply assumed that only career politicians can take down those imaginary barriers.  In reality, as we shall see, the only barriers to opportunities that exist in this country are created by the government.  Only government has the power to intervene into the free market, by means of laws, rules and regulations, and create economic winners and losers.
The first "barrier" seen by the Democrats is something they like to call systemic racism.  Here is what they say, "Democrats will fight to end institutional and systemic racism in our society. We will challenge and dismantle the structures that define lasting racial, economic, political, and social inequity. Democrats will promote racial justice through fair, just, and equitable governing of all public-serving institutions and in the formation of public policy. Democrats support removing the Confederate battle flag from public properties, recognizing that it is a symbol of our nation's racist past that has no place in our present or our future. We will push for a societal transformation to make it clear that black lives matter and that there is no place for racism in our country."  Let's consider these bizarre and unspecific ideas for a moment.
Racism is an irrational hatred for someone of a different race.  Blacks irrationally hate whites.  Whites irrationally hate blacks.  Scots irrationally hate the Welsh.  (The Welsh don't irrationally hate anybody.) Serbs irrationally hate Croatians.  Kurds irrationally hate Turks.  The Chinese irrationally hate the Japanese.  People with the white side on the right side of their faces hate those people with the white side on the left side of their faces.  Let's face it, almost everyone hates everyone of a different race.  So what is the big deal?  Let them hate.  They only hurt themselves.  But that will not do for the busy-body Democrats.  They have to create something they call institutional racism.
An institution is impersonal and, by definition, cannot be racist.  The Democrats use the term to assert their nonsensical belief that businesses operated by white males somehow have the power to keep the noble black man financially oppressed.  They never describe precisely how that takes place but they all believe it.  So if the Democrats are going to "fight institutional racism" they are going to have to fight against business operated by white males.  How they are going to do that is not described.  Why that would be a good idea is not explained.  In fact, the entire paragraph is nothing but propaganda designed to inflame the emotions of those who wish to be classified as victims of racism.   Funny thing about that....I have never heard of any Asians, a definite minority race in the SDA, complaining about institutional racism (as they continue to rise to the top of the income population as a race).  I wonder why evil whitey has allowed that to happen?
As a token of what it means to fight racism the Democrats want to make the Confederate flag illegal.  That only makes sense.  To the victors goes the spoils.  The North devastated the South and clearly won the war.  As the winner it has the right to re-write history and impose severe punishments upon the loser.  I just have one request.  If the Confederate flag is to be removed because it is a symbol of the white man's hatred for the noble black man, I believe that all paintings/photographs of Abraham Lincoln that hang in SDA government schools should also be removed.  After all, Lincoln wrote:
  • "There is a natural disgust in the minds of nearly all white people to the idea of indiscriminate amalgamation of the white and black races ... A separation of the races is the only perfect preventive of amalgamation, but as an immediate separation is impossible, the next best thing is to keep them apart where they are not already together. If white and black people never get together in Kansas, they will never mix blood in Kansas."  (when discussion the western expansion of slavery)
  • "In the language of Mr. Jefferson, uttered many years ago, "It is still in our power to direct the process of emancipation, and deportation, peaceably, and in such slow degrees, as that the evil will wear off insensibly; and in their places be, pari passu [on an equal basis], filled up by free white laborers." (when discussing his desire to ship all blacks back to Africa)
  • "I have no purpose directly or indirectly to interfere with the institution of slavery in the states where it exists. I believe I have no lawful right to do so, and I have no inclination to do so." (on his alleged desire to outlaw southern slavery)
  • "I have no purpose to introduce political and social equality between the white and black races. There is physical difference between the two which, in my judgment, will probably forever forbid their living together upon the footing of perfect equality, and inasmuch as it becomes a necessity that there must be a difference, I, as well as Judge Douglas, am in favor of the race to which I belong having the superior position."
  • "Our republican system was meant for a homogeneous people. As long as blacks continue to live with the whites they constitute a threat to the national life. Family life may also collapse and the increase of mixed breed bastards may some day challenge the supremacy of the white man."
As an example of the systemic racism that is pandemic in the SDA, the Democrats write, "The racial wealth and income gaps are the result of policies that discriminate against people of color and constrain their ability to earn income and build assets to the same extent as other Americans. It has accumulated over time and is made worse by ongoing policies and practices. For example, African Americans and Latinos lost more than half of their net worth as a result of the housing crisis and the Great Recession, because they lost jobs at a much faster rate than white workers and because they were disproportionately targeted for subprime, predatory, and fraudulent mortgages during the run-up to the housing crisis."  Let's consider that argument for a moment, if we can find it.
The mere assertion that something is so does not make it so.  The Democrats, ignoring rich Asians, assert that blacks and latinos are economically oppressed by angry white male businessmen, especially those operating mortgage companies.  They believe that in some clandestine conspiracy of racist hatred, angry white businessmen are preventing blacks and latinos from creating businesses, producing goods and selling those goods for a profit in the free market.  When forced to produce an example of this white male oppression, the Democrats produce a bizarre and surreal argument that proves just the opposite of what they intend to prove.  According to the Democrats, black and latino family units lost more net worth during the Great Recession than white families did.  The alleged reason for this is that black and latino families had more concentration of their net worth in housing which allegedly lost more value than other assets.  And why did their homes lose more value than whiteys?  Because evil whitey forced the noble black and latino families to take out loans that they could not afford.
The truth of the matter is the federal government created the Great Recession, the housing collapse and the stock market crash of 2008-2009.  The free market had nothing to do with any of it, nor did white run businesses.  So it is fair to say that blacks and latinos were unfairly targeted and lost more in the Great Recession than evil white folks.  But it is incorrect to believe that they lost more because of the free market. They were targeted by their own government and the Democrats who forced mortgage companies to issue sub-prime loans to black and latino families.
In a wildly bizarre case of deja vu, this splinter in the plank of economic equality says, "Democrats believe it is long past time to close this racial wealth gap. Disparities in wealth cannot be solved by the free market alone, but instead, the federal government must play a role in eliminating systemic barriers to wealth accumulation for different racial groups and improving opportunities for people from all racial and ethnic backgrounds to build wealth. Federal policies must remove barriers to achieving sustainable homeownership..."  Did you get all of that?  If not, let me explain.
After castigating whitey for selling sub-prime loans to blacks and latinos, the Democrats come up with the brilliant idea of requiring mortgage companies operated by evil white businessmen to issue sub-prime loans to black and latino families so they can also have a home, at least until the repo man shows up again.  The Democrat's solution to the problem they created in the real estate market is to do exactly the same things all over again.  Now that is what I call leadership!
There are no barriers to opportunities in the free market. All real barriers to opportunity that exist are there as a result of government rules and regulations.  It is not a question as to whether there are barriers or not.  The question is this, who are the barriers erected to oppose?  When we answer this question we must acknowledge that the Democratic platform exists for the purpose of creating barriers to entry for productive white males who want nothing more than to produce things that consumers would be willing to voluntarily purchase.  To justify the creation of these barriers the Democrats create the victim classes of blacks and latinos who apparently are so utterly helpless they can do nothing without government support.  I tell you what, if I were a black or a latino and not a Welshman, I would be highly offended by what the Democratic party thinks of me.

Democratic Plank # 3: Give Special Privilges To Select Groups In The Name Of Equality

One of the planks in the Democratic platform is entitled "Fight for Economic Fairness and Against Inequality."  That is an interesting name for a plank and it reveals a lot about how much the Democrats do not understand about economics.  Let's consider that for a while today.
Complete and total economic fairness is found only in the free market.  In the free market everyone can determine precisely how much he wants to participate.  In the free market everyone is paid in exact proportion to how much he serves the desires of the consumers.  In the free market each person is able to bring products and services to the market that he believes will be desired by consumers.  If he is correct he will be rewarded with profits.  If he is wrong he will be punished with losses.  Those people, generally the great majority, who are unwilling to take on entrepreneurial risk are free, in the free market, to offer their labor services, both skilled and unskilled, to the entrepreneurs who are assuming market risk.  Everyone is free to do exactly as he pleases.  In addition, everyone is free to choose not to participate as well.  Each person will be paid precisely for what he does.
There are no free markets anywhere in the world today. Each country, to one degree or another, practices an interventionist economic policy in which career politicians and bureaucrats determine in advance who will have economic advantages over whom. Anytime a special "right" is assigned to one group, at least one other group has a right taken away.  Every time a special group gets income for something other than serving the desires of the consumers, some other group has been forced to pay the taxes that are given to the privileged group.  Every time the government creates a law for a profession requiring those who participate in it to get prior government approval, known  as a license, all of those who are qualified to work in that profession but who are unwilling or unable to get the license are discriminated against.  There are no natural monopolies in the free market.  On the other hand, the government creates hundreds of monopolies in which the protected group obtains taxpayer financed cash and prizes that the non-protected group is forbidden to earn, at taxpayer expense of course.  All of this is to say that when the Democrats claim to be intervening into the economy to bring about "equality" they are actually doing just the opposite.  They are intervening in the economy to pay off those who support them, in the hypocritical name of equality.
The biggest target and most favored whipping post for the Democrats is alternatively called "Wall Street" or "Big Banking."  The third plank has this to say about their arch nemesis, "To restore economic fairness, Democrats will fight against the greed and recklessness of Wall Street. Wall Street cannot be an island unto itself, gambling trillions in risky financial instruments and making huge profits, all the while thinking that taxpayers will be there to bail them out again. We must tackle dangerous risks in big banks and elsewhere in the financial system. We must make Wall Street work for the job-creating, productive economy—including by making loans more affordable for small- and medium-sized businesses. We need to prohibit Wall Street from picking and choosing which credit agency will rate its products as well as from imposing excessive fees on consumers."  There is so much wrong with that series of statements I hardly know where to begin exposing the errors.  Still, I will try.
Why is it that only people who work for banks are greedy?  What does it mean to be greedy?  If greedy is defined as always seeking to get the best return or the lowest price, how can it be that every single person in the Socialist Democracy of Amerika is not guilty of it?  And if everyone is guilty of it, why single out Wall Street investment banking firms?  I don't know of a single citizen in this envy filled country who goes around seeking to pay more for something than he has to.  I also can't think of a single person I have met in my life who voluntarily switched his investment portfolio into something that gave him a lower rate of return. It seems rather clear to me that every time the Democrats use the word 'greedy' they are doing so for no other reason than to disparage banks and bankers.  Everyone is greedy and being greedy, as they define it, is not a sin.
This entire paragraph reeks of economic ignorance.  It presupposes that the Great Recession was caused by profit seeking investment banks.  That is completely incorrect.  For some accurate information about the causes and repercussions of the Great Recession, go here, here, here, here and here.  To make a long story short, it was a combination of several factors, all of them created by the federal government, that brought about the financial collapse that then precipitated the Great Recession.  Free market banking did not create it.  The "reckless" derivatives described by the Democrats were nothing more than the free market's attempt to reduce the risks already introduced into the financial markets by government policies and mandates in the real estate market.  Then, when the entire thing collapsed, the government blamed the banks and waltzed away Scot-free.  It was the federal government that was greedy.  It was the federal government that was gambling with trillions of dollars and, lest we forget, it was the government that made the voluntary decision to bail out some of the banks (and one car company) when the recession started.
The assertion that "we" (never defined....just who is this group called "we" that keeps popping up everywhere?) "must make Wall Street work for the job-creating, productive economy..." betrays a ghastly ignorance of how capital is created in the free market.  The clear intimation is that the creation of financial assets is not related to what the Democrats call the "productive economy."  The productive economy, if what they wrote earlier in their platform is any indication, consists of menial manufacturing jobs that they expect to spontaneously spring up around the land when they are in power.  Capital does not grow on trees and every productive business in the universe is capital dependent.  Wall Street investment bankers are experts at raising capital for business enterprises.  To harm Wall Street is to harm Main Street, although the Democrats will never admit to that truth.
The allegation that Wall Street investment bankers "pick and choose which credit rating agency will rate its products" is one of the dumbest things I have ever read.  The credit rating agencies are all quasi-government institutions.  There are no free market credit rating agencies.  When those agencies rated the derivatives created by Wall Street investment bankers, just prior to the Great Recession, as high quality investments they were doing so on the authority of the federal government.  People in the free market who attempted to argue otherwise were drowned out with laughter and derision.  All of the blame for the miss-rating of those mortgage backed securities falls squarely on the shoulders of government regulators, not Wall Street bankers.
The Democrats describe their economic goal as follows, "Our goal must be to create a financial system and an economy that works for all Americans, not just a handful of billionaires. We support a financial transactions tax on Wall Street to curb excessive speculation and high-frequency trading, which has threatened financial markets."  Once again, everything in that statement is wrong, wrong and more wrong.
There is no such thing as a "financial system."  All career politicians and the lackeys who vote for them continue to persist in their infantile and irrational belief that there is something out there called a financial system and that an all knowing and all powerful government bureau can regulate and control it as they wish.  The stated goal of the Democrats is to "create a financial system."  That goal is impossible.  That goal is a communist/socialist utopian dream.  All people who even think that such a goal is attainable should be checked into an insane asylum and subjected to a long series of shock treatments, at least until their brains are sufficiently scrambled they give up that ridiculous concept.
Now hear this you Democrats....everything that exists in the world has been created by profit seeking entrepreneurs.  Without profit seeking corporations and businesses nothing would exist above the mere subsistence level.  Government has created nothing and can only do harm by intervening into the free market where everything is created.  Attempting to regulate the free market in order to obtain some self-conceived goal of equality is absurd and impossible.  Every single time government taxes a portion of the free market it creates the very inequality it claims to be removing.  Every single time the government intervenes into the economy it creates winners and losers.  Furthermore, all interventions into the free market inevitably create additional inequalities that come with various special interest groups as one receives government favors and others are taxed to pay for those favors.  The money that Democrats want to steal from billionaires does not belong to the Democrats and they have no right to it.  Any attempt to take it away from its rightful owners is the act of theft.  God will judge those who steal from others.  The Democrats are massive hypocrites as they pretend to praise economic equality when their interventionist activities in the market do precisely the opposite.
One downright shocking splinter in this plank is defined as follows, "At a time when many of the largest banks have shunned communities across America, Democrats believe that we need to give Americans affordable banking options, including by empowering the United States Postal Service to facilitate the delivery of basic banking services."  Now that sounds like a brilliant idea!  I can't conceive of how anything could possibly go wrong with the Post Office becoming a bank. Just imagine it for a moment....a bank with all of the charm of the Post Office.  Tellers will be surly and see customers as a hindrance to their happiness.  Hours will be restricted.  Service will be shoddy.  Money will be routinely lost or misdirected.  Complaints will go unanswered.  Rates of return will be below market and the entire enterprise will be subsidized by the taxpayers as far into the future as we can see.  What a great idea.

Democratic Plank # 2: Pay People To Dig Holes

The second plank in the platform of the Democratic party this year is to "Create Good Paying Jobs."  Shall we begin by acknowledging that no career politician has ever created a single job, much less a "good paying" one?  All jobs that are created in the Socialist Democracy that add real wealth to the economy are the result of the activities of profit seeking businesses that are on a never ending quest to serve the desires of the consumers.  No government bureaucrat, politician, program or any amount of government spending has ever resulted in a net increase in jobs.  Never.  So why do the Democrats make the second plank of their platform an assertion about their ability to create jobs?  Answer:  Because they see themselves as gods.  Sadly, most of the hair-brained, idolatrous and economically ignorant citizens in the SDA believe the same thing about them.
The first splinter in this plank is entitled "Building 21st Century Infrastructure."  It is not difficult to see where this is going.  Keynesians, communists and all socialists all believe that taking money from one group and giving it to another group, by means of a government created "job," is a net positive for the economy.  In holding that belief they ignore the fact that the first act of taking money from a person is both immoral and economically disastrous.  As a result of their ridiculous faith in the economic omnipotence of government they routinely promise to make us all wealthy beyond our wildest dreams by creating government jobs that enter into areas of the free market that have allegedly suffered from market failure.  They are always happy to step in and take over when the free market allegedly is found incapable of providing what the consumers both want and need. The end result is always the same.  People in government jobs are paid taxpayer money to first dig a hole and then fill it back in.  Nothing is ever created but the worthless jobs guarantee a lot of votes for career politicians.
Market failure is the erroneous socialist doctrine that the free market is incapable of providing consumers everything they want.  There is some truth to the argument, but it is deceptively used to advance an argument that is completely incorrect.  The free market can provide anything and everything any consumer could ever want, but not necessarily at a price all consumers are willing to pay.  The problem, from the perspective of many consumers in love with government hegemony, is that the price asked by the producer is higher than the price they want to pay.  I could get electricity to my parcel of land high in the mountains but I had to pay a $10,000 fee to the electric company to run the line to my lot.  It was not a question as to whether the free market could provide my electricity, it was a question as to how much I wanted pay for it.  When a government bureaucrat came along and told me that it was unfair that I should have to pay for my electric line myself, I was on board.  He told me that the electric company was seeking to abuse and oppress me by charging such an outrageous fee.  He informed me that he could force the taxpayers to subsidize my electric line so I would only end up paying $20 for it.  All I had to do was vote for him.  Guess who I voted for?
The Democrats inform me that, "If we are serious about reversing the decline of the middle class, we need major federal investments to rebuild our crumbling infrastructure and put millions of Americans back to work in decent paying jobs in both the public and private sectors. The climate emergency and the need to expand the middle class demand that we make the most ambitious investment in American infrastructure since President Eisenhower created the interstate highway system. We will put Americans to work updating and expanding our roads, bridges, public transit, airports, and passenger and freight rail lines."  Well, I don't believe the "middle class" (whatever that is) is either in decline or in need of government support.  Furthermore, I don't believe we need "federal investments."  Do you know what a federal investment is?  It is when the federal government raises taxes in order to use that revenue on public works programs that enrich the crony-capitalist companies that made donations to career politicians in the last election cycle.  Everyone who made a contribution gets a government contract to build something that is either unnecessary or that could be produced more cheaply and efficiently by the free market.  The Democrats want lots of these types of programs.  They are highly effective at buying votes.
Notice that the Democrats presuppose the religion of "climate change."  We all know that climate change is simply another phrase for global warming.  Those of us who do not believe in the religion of global warming, or the religion of evolution, or the religion of economical equality between people who work and people who freeload, and a host of other government endorsed religions are expected to foot the bill for those who do.  Isn't democracy, and the concomitant rule of the majority, just wonderful?  Humm...I thought that was a strict separation of religion and politics in this country?  Apparently not.
The next splinter in the plank is entitled, "Fostering a Manufacturing Renaissance."  Why anyone would want to foster a renaissance in manufacturing is not described.  Manufacturing jobs are menial, dirty, hard, dangerous and low paying.  Even if the federal government could create those types of jobs, which it can't, why would anyone want it to do so?  To accomplish this absurd dream of a renaissance in SDA manufacturing output the Democrats want to initiate trade wars with countries all around the world.  Furthermore, they want to make laws which make moral activities in the free market, like hiring whoever you want to hire to do a particular job regardless of where they happen to live, illegal.  The Democrats are the self-proclaimed protectors of the little guy, unless that little guy happens to live in the wrong place.  Then all bets are off.
How will the Democrats accomplish this ridiculous goal?  "Democrats believe one of the best ways to innovate, prosper, and create good-paying jobs is to make more in America, which is why we firmly support American manufacturing with a 'Make it in America' plan. We must revitalize hard-hit manufacturing communities; create thriving hubs of manufacturing and innovation throughout the country; and claw back tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas, using the proceeds to reinvest in communities and workers at home instead."  Like I wrote above, the Democrats will initiate trade wars with countries all over the world, tax profit seeking companies that are doing nothing more than wonderfully serving the consumers and by a wave of their magic wand, "create thriving hubs of manufacturing" at various places around the SDA.  I wonder......if it is so easy to create thriving hubs of manufacturing, why have they not already done so?  I seem to recall having heard all of these economic promises before.  I heard these promises from Mittens and Obama.  I remember King George talking about them.  So did the man who invented the internet, Al Gore.  So did the next "First Man" of the SDA, Bill Clinton.  Why, despite all of the promises to do so, has no political party, career politician or government spending program ever effectively created a thriving hub of manufacturing in this immoral and God-hating country?  Is it possible they are not capable of delivering on their promises?  Me thinks so.  Even more important for the future of this sad land, why do the voters continue to allow themselves to be led down the exact same primrose path, only to be cast into death valley at the end of it?  Such is the nature of religious faith in an impotent deity.
Another splinter in this plank is entitled, "Pursuing Our Innovation Agenda: Science, Research, Education, and Technology."  I don't like the looks of that one.  Here is some of what the Democrats want to do for those who vote for them:  "Democrats believe we must harness the promise of technological innovation to promote community participation and enhance opportunities to achieve greater economic self-sufficiency for people with disabilities....High-speed internet connectivity is not a luxury; it is a necessity for 21st century economic success, social mobility, education, health care, and public safety. Despite considerable progress and private investment in the last eight years to close the digital divide, there is more work to do. Democrats will finish the job of connecting every household in America to high-speed broadband, increase internet adoption, and help hook up anchor institutions so they can offer free WiFi to the public....Democrats believe in continuing the spirit of discovery that has animated NASA’s exploration of space over the last half century. We will strengthen support for NASA and work in partnership with the international scientific community to launch new missions to space."  Wow!  That is a mouthful.  Let's consider each of these three proposals.
The first sentence quoted above is virtually undecipherable.  Go back and read it for yourself and try to tell me what it means.  It is classic post-modern language.  There is an abundance of words and a dearth of content.  The only thing I can gather from what was written is that "people with disabilities" (I wonder how that is defined) are going to be on the receiving end of government transfer payments.  Don't you just love the Democrats?  They have to work those crippled people into their platform somewhere.  Who would have thought they would show up under this category though?
Free!  Free! Everything is free!  The Democrats will give you a chicken in every pot, a cell phone in every back pocket and free WiFi in every hovel within the land.  After all, free WiFi for all is a "public safety" issue, whatever that means.
Lastly, the Democrats want to send a man to Mars.  I have a suggestion.  Don't send a man.  Send Hillary!

Democratic Plank # 1: Create Politically Privileged Groups To Exploit The Productive Class

The political platform for the Democratic party in the Socialist Democracy of Amerika has been drafted and can be found here.  The first plank on that platform is entitled, "Raise Incomes and Restore Economic Security for the Middle Class."  Let's consider that plank for a while today.
Under the Democratic party's initiative to raise incomes and restore economic security for the middle class are several proposals.  Interesting to me is the fact that how it came to be the business of government to raise incomes of a particular group of citizens is never explained.  Nor are the phrases "restore economic security" and "the middle class" ever defined.  In fact, there are no definitions whatsoever in this entire plank.  I would at least like to know what we are talking about but the Democrats apparently believe that using words with no meaning is superior to actually making rational arguments.  About the only thing that can be said about plank # 1 is it presupposes that civil government is a god, endowed with god-like powers to create jobs, income and wealth.  No argument for that religious belief is presented, rather, it is simply presupposed to be true.
The first splinter in the plank is entitled "raising worker's wages" and it contains the following religiously held doctrine, "Democrats believe that the current minimum wage is a starvation wage and must be increased to a living wage. No one who works full time should have to raise a family in poverty. We believe that Americans should earn at least $15 an hour and have the right to form or join a union and will work in every way we can—in Congress and the federal government, in states and with the private sector—to reach this goal."  The religious belief that civil government has the omnipotent ability to increase the income of that majority of people who make up the lower 51% of the income population is fundamental to the Democratic party.  It is a crucial part of their scam and an obvious attempt to procure the majority of the votes cast this November, thus allowing them to remain in power and keep career politicians in their seats.  The simple economic fact is this....a government mandated minimum wage hurts the lower 51% of the income population because it increases unemployment within the category of those who are already marginally employed.  Those who keep their jobs make more, that is true, but there are less total jobs, less total wealth and less economic growth when minimum wage laws are enacted.  Democrats, and those who support them, do not care about this economic truth.  They favor minimum wage laws because the enforcement of those laws hurts the entrepreneurial members of the upper 49% of the income population.  Make no mistake, minimum wage laws are about envy and nothing else.  Indeed, the entire platform for the Democratic party is little more than a classic example of institutionalized envy.
The second splinter in the plank is entitled, "Protecting Worker's Fundamental Rights."  Can  you guess what those rights are?   In a moral society the civil government would function to protect the rights of those who choose to sell their labor services to profit seeking businesses by adjudicating disputes about the contracts between the two groups in an impartial and just way.  That, of course, is not what this splinter is about.  This splinter, like all splinters in the Democratic platform, is about creating a class of economic winners and another class of economic losers.  Here is what it proposes to do, "Democrats will make it easier for workers, public and private, to exercise their right to organize and join unions. We will fight to pass laws that direct the National Labor Relations Board to certify a union if a simple majority of eligible workers sign valid authorization cards, as well as laws that bring companies to the negotiating table....Democrats believe so-called 'right to work' laws are wrong for workers—such as teachers and other public employees who serve our communities every day—and wrong for America. We will continue to vigorously oppose those laws."  Did you get all that?  If not, let me explain.
Democrats want people who make the voluntary decision to sell their labor services to a profit seeking business to be permitted to join with others who have done the same thing and create a union that can force the profit seeking business to pay them an above market rate for their services.  To make sure that the employer will be forced to pay an above market rate for the labor services of the members of the union the Democrats need to exclude other workers who are willing to sell their labor services for the prevailing market rate.  To accomplish that goal they promise to create immoral laws that require all people to be a part of the union, even if they morally oppose it, when 51% of those employed by the company favor unionizing.  The democratic principle of the moral right of the majority to create and declare what will be done, regardless of the beliefs and practices of the minority, is clearly enshrined here.  The Democrats praise their opposition of the moral right of every individual to negotiate a labor services contract for himself as an example of sticking up for the little guy and helping the poor and oppressed to not be exploited by profit seeking corporations.  What they fail to acknowledge, and will never admit even under logically necessary arguments, is that their support for unions actually hurts more of the people it is theoretically designed to help.  Unions have never been about helping poor workers. Unions have always been and always will be about using the power of government to force businesses to pay a wage higher than the market would bear to a small percentage of workers who are able to procure that government created privilege for themselves.  Not surprisingly, unionized workers vote en masse for Democrats.
Under the splinter entitled "Supporting Working Families" (I have seen individuals working but I have never seen a "family" working.  I wonder what that thing looks like?) I found this assertion, "Democrats will make sure that the United States finally enacts national paid family and medical leave by passing a family and medical leave act that would provide all workers at least 12 weeks of paid leave to care for a new child or address a personal or family member’s serious health issue."  Well there you have it.  The Democrats are able to force profit seeking companies to pay people to not work and, at the same time, increase their profits and create economic growth around the country.  Only a god can do what the Democrats believe they can do.  I especially like the provision that I can force my company to give me 12 weeks of paid vacation because my Uncle Joe checked into a rehab hospital, suffering from a serious "mental illness" or course, in what will be another vain attempt to dry out.  What a country!
The splinter entitled "Helping More Workers Share in Near-Record Corporate Profits" contains this little gem, "Corporate profits are at near-record highs, but workers have not shared through rising wages....That is why, working with business, labor, and other stakeholders, we will incentivize companies to share profits with their employees on top of wages and pay increases, while targeting the workers and businesses that need profit-sharing the most."  Do you know what a government created incentive is?  It is a promise to tax you into oblivion if you do not do what the career politician and his lackey bureaucrat order you to do.   This splinter illustrates the total economic ignorance to be found within the Democratic party.  The Democrats are distressed that profit seeking corporations are making near record profits but are, allegedly, not sharing some or all of those profits with the people they have hired to provide labor services to the company.  There is a good reason for that that the Democrats miss entirely.  The people who are hired to provide labor services to the company are not members of the company.  They are therefore not entitled to any of the profits.  They are entitled to be paid precisely what they voluntarily agreed to be paid in their personal services contract but the notion that an employee is morally entitled to profits he did not earn or create is preposterous.  I tell you what, if the Democrats really want to create this law they must also create another. When a profit seeking corporation suffers losses I want there to be a law that holds the employees responsible for their share of those losses.  When losses mount the employees should be forced to dip into their personal savings accounts and cover them.  That is, after all, only fair.
(I think we all know what the envy-filled Progressive's  counter argument would be here.  She would say that when a company realizes losses it is due exclusively to the mismanagement of the overpaid executives within the company.  On the other hand, she would continue,  whenever a corporation realizes profits those profits are exclusively the result of the labor services sold to the company by the employees.  The overpaid executives have nothing to do with it.  Could I ask for a better example of the irrational and religious nature of these doctrinal beliefs than that?)
The Democrats also promise to "Protect and Expand Social Security."  Anyone who wants to remain a career politician must repeat this mantra about the insolvent Social Security system.  There are way too many old folks in the country today to appease.  Anyone who hacks off the old folks lobby will soon be forced to look for a real way to earn a living.  So how do the Democrats propose to not only protect, but also expand, a fiscally insolvent government program?  You guessed it.  They will tax the top 49% of the income population more.  They will also pay less of what was initially promised to those top 49% when it comes their turn to retire by enforcing a "means test" that really only means those who paid the most will get the proportionately smallest share back.  This could only work in a democracy where the will of the majority establishes what is morally correct and the hapless minority is nothing more than a group of people to be plundered.
The last splinter in this first plank of the Democratic party is clearly thrown in to buy the votes of the members of the enormously bloated government mandated Postal Service.  It is entitled "Revitalizing Our Nation's Postal Service" and basically just promises the people who work in this utterly unnecessary and grossly inefficient government bureau that their jobs are secure.  That should be good for quite a few votes come November.
I conclude that the Democrats believe they have the god-like power to ensure economic security for those who vote for them by promising to use the hegemonic power of the State to take money from its most productive members and giving that money to politically privileged classes that they create.  This activity is called "theft" by the God of the Bible and those who support and promote it are guilty of the sin of "envy."  I have only one word for those of you who believe Plank #1 is a good idea......Repent!
